Venezuela's National Assembly President Jorge Rodríguez said, the latest death toll has reached 4,333. So far, 16,740 people have been injured, and 6462 survivors have been rescued.
Authorities have opened 94 temporary shelters, where more than 18,000 displaced people are staying.
Since the twin earthquakes struck on June 24, officials have recorded more than 1200 aftershocks, making rescue and recovery operations even more difficult.
