The Premier came up with the statement while speaking at a special event titled "Youth, Startups and the Bangladesh of Possibilities" at the University of Dhaka on Tuesday morning.  

At the event, the Prime Minister said, startups with strong potential would be eligible for additional financial support even if their first venture fails. He also announced that the ICT Division will provide startup funding ranging from  5 lakh to 5 croreTk. 

Earlier, the event was inaugurated at Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Building. The visit marked Tarique Rahman's second trip to the university since assuming office.
